Why We Created Bikedok
Bikedok was born from a simple frustration: why is it still so difficult to find somewhere genuinely secure to leave a bicycle?
Having experienced bicycle theft ourselves, we know first-hand the frustration and disappointment it causes. And as bicycles and e-bikes have become increasingly valuable, protecting them has too often meant carrying multiple heavy, cumbersome locks — with no guarantee they will be enough.
We believed there had to be a better way.
So, we created Bikedok with a clear purpose: to remove the fear of bicycle theft by creating cycle parking that people can genuinely trust.
From the outset, we set out to combine serious security with effortless convenience. No complicated locking routines. No carrying a collection of heavy locks. Just intelligently designed, easy-to-use infrastructure that gives cyclists confidence to leave their bike and get on with their day.
Everything we produce is conceived and designed in the UK by experienced designers and engineers, with security built into every product from the very beginning — not added as an afterthought.
The result is a growing range of robust, thoughtfully engineered cycle parking solutions designed around the people who actually use them.
Because if we want more people to choose cycling, providing somewhere genuinely secure and convenient to leave their bike shouldn't be an afterthought.
It should be part of the infrastructure.

Simply find an available location on the map, pay the required fee, then press rge green padlock, the door will automatically open! No buttons, catches or handles required.
Q: Are bikedok lockers secure?
The bikedok strongbox range carries Sold Secure powered diamond accreditation. The highest available security rating for cycle storage I the UK.
Q: Do I need to bring my own lock?
No lock required in the bikedok strongbox locker, you have your own individual private parking space.
Q: Will the locker open if I’m not back in time for my paid booking?
100% NO, locker will remain secure and continue the charge standard hourly rate applied for the location.
Q: Can I call and talk to someone if I’m struggling with the app?
100% YES, we pride ourselves on always having somebody on the end of the phone, UK based, personal service, no call centre handling.
